Kartik is the founder of BalaFi and leads and manages the firm's overall strategy. Kartik is responsible for deal generation, evaluation, and diligence. He also oversees management operations and financial reporting for operating businesses.

In addition to BalaFi, Kartik is a Finance & Accounting leader with industry experience in Industrials/Manufacturing, Logistics/Distribution, Food & Beverage/Hospitality, and Healthcare. He has spent the past several years supporting PE firms and founder-led enterprises with performance improvement and finance transformation initiatives. Most recently, Kartik has  helped organizations in the Industrials/Manufacturing and Healthcare sectors optimize cash forecasting/capital planning, develop reporting, and enhance daily operating practices. Kartik is also a part-owner of a small business in Long Beach, CA, where he manages finance & administration, purchasing, inventory, and overall strategy.​​
